Coaching Requirements
USA Hockey’s policies require all coaches, team managers and volunteers to register with USA Hockey, complete SafeSport training and complete a background check.
Coaches are required to have all three completed along with their age- appropriate modules before the start of the season.

Once you complete steps 1-4 and you have confirmed completion with the CT JR Huskies Registrar you will be able to skate! You will have one more step to complete prior to the 12/31 deadline.
STEP 5.
Required Coaching Education Certification - CEP
Depending on your level, it may be required each season.
Find, register and attend the required certification clinic. You can only attend one clinic per season and all coaches start at Level 1. The coaching clinic season for Levels 1-3 officially runs from September 1 to December 31.
